Down Memory Lane is series of podcasts featuring older folk from the Braes of Lochaber community whose memories stretch back in time. This episode features Donald Cameron who was born on a croft near Loch Morar in 1923. Donald trained with the Commandos during the Second World War and was present at the D-Day landings.
These podcasts are created in partnership with West Highland Museum and Nevis Radio with kind permission of the former Braes community newspaper team. The recordings are based on interviews conducted between 2012 and 2021 by Richard Sidgwick.
