If you’re interested in finding out more about metal detecting, or have finds you want to bring along to showcase, this is the event for you!
Treasure Trove Scotland will have a stand where they will look at different finds from metal detectorists – some will be identified, and some taken to Treasure Trove for allocation. We will also have some interesting archaeology from the museum on display.
The event is being held from 11am – 1pm at the West Highland Museum, Fort William and is FREE – although donations are welcome!
The event is suitable for wheelchair access, and is also child and dog friendly (provided the dogs are kept on the lead)
