The West Highland Museum are taking in part in Art Fund’s Wild Escape a major new project uniting hundreds of museums and schools in a celebration of UK wildlife and creativity. We have been delivering some fantastic wildlife themed workshops at the museum aimed at young learners.
Now there is a chance to explore Glen Nevis on World Earth Day 2023 with the Highlife Highland Countryside Rangers and West Highland Museum.
Join High Life Highland Ranger Fiona to celebrate World Earth Day. In conjunction with West Highland museum and The Wild Escape project we will be going outdoors and exploring the pond habitat. Looking at the pond minibeasts can give us an insight into this fascinating ecosystem and why it is an important building block for the wider environment. After exploring we will continue the fun by creating some homes for our own gardens to encourage wildlife.
This workshop is suitable for children 7-12yrs old, who must be accompanied by an adult. Please book to secure a place as space is limited.
